Church Services
Coming to the Church Services are the act of loving and responding to God! Through the heart-warming, conservative music and the clear, Bible teaching and preaching in our services, your heart will be inspired to love and to respond to God. Each week, Families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Each service is carefully planned and prayed over so that God may work in your life!
Weekly Preaching Services
Through the practical, Bible preaching, families are being encouraged, needs are being met, and lives are being changed. Every week God's Word is opened and boldly proclaimed. Every week our musicians gather to help us meet with the Lord through music in a way that truly honors Him.

Children's Ministries
Welcome to "Kid City," the children's ministry of Greater Des Moines Baptist Church. It is so exciting to see what the Lord is doing in our church and in the lives of children. Kid City is a place where children can have fun and learn about God's Word, while parents attend a church service or an adult Bible class. We are looking forward to you and your child being our guest here in Kid City. If you have any questions about our children's ministries, or if we can help you in any way, please let us know.
Sunday Morning Programs
Nursery
Loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment with security and a parent paging system. Parents can have peace of mind while they attend one of the adult Bible classes or one of the church services. Nursery is provided for newborns through two year olds, during all weekly service times.
Sunday school
Games, excitement, learning, crafts and songs are just a few words that describe the children's Sunday school classes at Greater Des Moines Baptist Church. Each class is divided into grades for children to learn in smaller groups. Sunday school classes are available for three year olds through sixth graders.
Junior church is a service that kids will not want to miss. Our junior service is an hour packed full of games, Bible lessons and songs just for them.
Special Needs
The special needs ministry provides care for children with various disabilities (mental, physical & behavioral). This ministry includes a Sunday school class and activities for children and their parents.
Kidz Clubs
Every Wednesday night while mom's and dad's are in the adult Bible Study - Wednesday's In The Word, we have a club where young people are taught about character and obedience. We teach children to obey and listen to their Dad and Mom. This club helps them to have what they need to live right in today’s world.
